Next Week: Internship Panel!

Happy Wednesday! 

We hope you all enjoyed the long weekend! We will be holding our next meeting on Monday, April 24th at 7pm in Isenberg 210* which will be an Internship Panel, featuring some of our amazing E-Board members! This meeting will be a great way to hear from real students about their experience navigating the internship search process across multiple industries, and what their roles looked like. If you are looking for advice about future internships, or are just curious to learn more about them, this meeting is for you!
*Please note this change in location from our usual meetings! Isenberg 210 is located at the top of the Atrium stairs in the old Isenberg Building.

"Pie an I" Fundraiser: WiB will be joining the Isenberg Senior Gift Committee for their Pie an I fundraiser! TOMORROW Thursday, April 20th from 11am to 3pm, stop by the Isenberg Courtyard to pie some of your favorite WiB members for a great cause. Pies will be $5, which will support WiB and the Isenberg community! Seniors will receive a T-shirt and their Isenberg graduation cord. Please note that this event was originally scheduled to be held on 4/19, but has been moved.

WiB Self Care Workshop with Ashley Olafsen: Join us in welcoming UMass grad and Co-Founder of the Wildflower Company, Ashley Olafsen, for an interactive self-care workshop! This will be a great opportunity to reflect on the semester, and to learn how to prioritize and balance everything on your plate before finals season. This event will be held on Wednesday, April 26th at 5:30pm in Isenberg 106, we hope to see you there!

The Minutemen Fixed Income Fund
The Minutemen Fixed Income Fund (MFIF) is a student-run credit research fund that strives to prepare their members for competitive high finance roles in Investment Banking, Sales & Trading, Credit/Equity Research, and more. They are currently accepting applications for the Fall 2023 Junior Analyst Program! First-year and second-year students of all majors are encouraged to apply. Applications close on Friday, April 21st at 11:59pm. More information on how to apply can be found here, and students are welcome to reach out to their email with questions. 

UMass Smart Women Securities
UMass Smart Women Securities (SWS) is a non-profit organization aimed at empowering women and teaching them about finance. SWS invited students to apply for their Environmental Social Governance Fund (ESG) Junior Analyst position. This opportunity provides students with more hands-on financial modeling and equity research experience centered around sustainable investing. Each Junior Analyst will be paired with a Senior Analyst, who will help guide them in their research. The application, which closes on Tuesday, May 2nd at 11:59pm, can be found here.

UMass Amherst Auxiliary Enterprises
The UMass Auxiliary Enterprises (AE) is currently accepting applications for their Summer AE Marketing Internship! This opportunity is designed for students who have a passion for UMass and the award-winning services offered. UMass Amherst Theater
UMass Amherst Theater invites students to attend their presentation of Into The Woods, a complication of the fairytale showcased in the popular 1987 musical! Showings will take place between April 28th and May 6th. More information, and how to purchase tickets, can be found here

Access Distributed (AD), a non-profit organization that helps university students gain access to top-careers in finance, invites students to attend their upcoming virtual events. First-year students interested in careers in finance are invited to attend the AD Fellowship Information session on Thursday, April 20th at 7:30pm to learn more about the industry and the AD programs. AD is also hosting an event for all undergraduate students on Wednesday, April 17th at 6:30pm, titled "Design Your Career" that will feature several speakers from top firms. PuzzleCity, an interactive cross between an escape room and a puzzle hunt, presented by Jane Street, is coming to Amherst! They invite students to join them on Saturday, April 22nd to race alongside classmates and friends to explore, solve, and discover a surprise twist.
