Happy Sunday!!

Thank you again for joining us Monday to hear from our amazingly talented Dean Massey. She is truly such an inspiring person and it was so insightful hearing all about her journey to becoming Dean and all her amazing accomplishments. An additional thanks to everyone who came to our first social event of the year, "Bracelets and Banter!" It was such a success and we had a lot of fun hanging out and making bracelets together.

Our next meeting will beTOMORROW, October 28th at 7pm in Flavin Auditorium (Isenberg 137). This is going to be a very fun meeting as it's WIB-O-WEEN! Come join us for a night of exciting games, activities, and goodies hosted by our lovely Directors of Social Events, Ava, Hunter and Ryo! There will also be a Costume Contest so make sure to come dressed in your Halloween best! We have some excellent prizes you definitely don't want to miss. 

 

We will NOT be on Zoom this week, so make sure to come in person to experience this fun event!

Research Survey: Help UMass students gather evidence for a class statistics survey! Your participation in this brief survey will greatly support their research project and only takes a couple minutes. You can fill the survey out here.

Berthiaume Center for Entrepreneurship: The Berthiaume Center for Entrepreneurship is pleased to announce the opening of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Academy competition applications. This year, there are four competitions: a tech challenge, food science and technology, hult prize, and executive pitch. If interested, please click here to see more details. This year, over $40,000 in funding will be up for grabs. These competitions are open to all UMass students and applications close 10/31 so don't wait to apply!
 

External Opportunities

The Hanover Insurance Group: Are you looking for an internship this upcoming summer? The Hangover insurance Group is still accepting applications to their summer internship program.
