Happy Wednesday!!

Thank you again for joining us Monday to hear from our lovely Dean Massey. She is truly such an inspiring person and it was so insightful hearing all about her journey to becoming Dean and all her amazing accomplishments. She also recommended some lovely books, so make sure to check out The Obstacle is The Way by Ryan Holiday and Good Strategy/Bad Strategy by Richard Rumelt.

Our next meeting will beMonday, October 28th at 7pm in Flavin Auditorium (Isenberg 137). This is going to be a very exciting meeting as it's WIB-O-WEEN! Join us for a night of fun activities, games, and goodies hosted by our lovely Directors of Social Events, Ava, Hunter and Ryo! There will also be a Costume Contest so make sure to come dressed in your Halloween best! We have some excellent prizes you definitely don't want to miss. 

 

We will NOT be on Zoom this week, so make sure to come in person to experience this fun event!



Social Events: Our first social event of the semester: "Bracelets & Banter" will beTODAY Wednesday, October 23rd, at 7pm in Isenberg room N145. Make sure to stop by to make bracelets and get to know other members in the club!

Peer Mentorship: Thank you to everyone who came to the first meeting this past Sunday! We had so much fun seeing you all. The next meeting will be a Class Selection meeting on Wednesday, November 13th at 7pm in Isenberg room TBD. Make sure to let your mentor know if you can't make it!

Smart Women Securities: Smart Woman Securities is thrilled to be hosting the fifth annual Beyond Your Degree Conference on Saturday, October 26th, 2024 from 1-6PM in the Isenberg Innovation Hub. The conference promises to be impactful and will offer students the opportunity to connect with industry professionals and Isenberg alumni and learn more about various career paths in finance.
