As a reminder, next Monday is President's Day and there will be no meeting. Instead, we will be having a Resume and Cover-letter workshop on Tuesday, February 20th at 7pm in Isenberg 108. We got lots of feedback asking for this meeting, so we are so excited to host it for you all! Come by to get help from our e-board with resume crafting and cover letter writing. See you there! 


Committee Sign-Ups:

  • Marketing: MarComm will be hosting consulting firm ALKU for a LinkedIn workshop on Wednesday, February 28th at 7pm in Herter 227! If you are looking to get involved with the marketing committee email lfreeley@umass.edu.

  • Peer Mentorship: For the first event of the semester, peer mentorship will be attending the Umass Hockey game on March 2nd at 6pm! Keep an eye out for more details. If you are looking to get involved email egillan@umass.edu.

  • Community Service: The first meeting of the semester is Wednesday, February 21st at 7:30 pm in Isenberg 124 (please note time and location change)! If you are looking to get involved email acicone@umass.edu.

Dues: if you are new to WiB or did not pay in the fall, membership dues are $5. Paying these gains you access to special events (field trips and social events like our Spring Formal!), makes you a first consideration when applying for E-Board, allows you to put “Active Member of WiB” on your resume, and gives you access to our WiB Membership Packet!

Boston Trip:  We are so excited to announce that this year, our trip will be held on Friday, April 5th! We will be visiting the EY and Wayfair Boston offices, and engaging in a variety of networking and professional development activities, including a panel session, office tours, case studies, and a luncheon event. Tickets will be $15 and registration for this opportunity will open on Monday, February 26th during our general body meeting! 
 

WiB x Active Minds: We are so excited to be collaborating with Active Minds, a club passionate about mental health advocacy and education! We will be having a meeting called "Imposter Syndrome and Work-Life Balance" on Tuesday, February 27th at 7pm location TBD. This is such an exciting new partnership so definitely join us!

  • Isenberg Marketing Career Networking Night: MCNN is Umass' annual marketing-oriented career fair where recruiters and students can walk around and engage with each other on a personal level.   • Citi Bank Virtual Information Session: Citi Bank will be hosting a virtual information session about their Summer 2025 internship on Wednesday, February 28th from 6-7pm.   • Citizens' Spotlight Series: Join Citizens' Bank for a closer look at "The Evolution of M&A" on February 21 at 6 pm. The conversation will be led by Citizens’ M&A bankers who will discuss the M&A business, current and future market trends, factors that can impact deal activity, and more!
