Happy first week of classes! We hope you all had a relaxing winter break and a smooth transition back to campus. We are so happy to be back, and to share all of the exciting things our E-Board has planned for the Spring semester!
Our first meeting will be held next Monday, February 13th at 7pm (Location TBD). This meeting will be led by Marcie Muehlke, who will be discussing how she built her own wedding dress company, focusing on how business intersects with public policy. Marcie obtained her MBA and MPPA from UMass, and currently works as the Assistant Director of Career Services for the UMass School of Public Policy!
WiB Boston Trip: Our annual WiB Boston trip, where we travel to Boston to tour multiple companies and network with business professionals, will be held this March! Our Co-Directors of Professional events have been working hard to organize this event, so be on the lookout for an interest form and more information!

The Women of Isenberg (WOI) is excited to announce that registration for the 10th Annual Women of Isenberg Conference is now open! This event will be held on Saturday, March 25th from 8:30am to 3:30pm. Hack(H)er413
Hack(H)er413 is the first all-women (cis and trans) and non-binary supporting student hackathon in Western Massachusetts, that encourages participants to learn new technical skills, network with companies, and build something that they are passionate about. Hack(Her)413 is a free event, and will be held at UMass from February 25rd to 26th. All are welcome to attend. Click this link for more information about the application process. This year’s theme is “Lead to Empower” and will feature several exciting speakers and panelists, and there will also be many opportunities to network with speakers and attendees.
