Halloween Meeting!

Happy Sunday! 

Join us for our next meeting tomorrow, Monday, October 31st at 7pm in Flavin Auditorium (Isenberg 137) for a night of Halloween fun! Our Co-Presidents, Laura Balinski and Abbie Stevenson, will be hosting a Halloween themed meeting with games, prizes and plenty of snacks! Feel free to come dressed in your most creative Halloween costume...the best dressed will win a prize! This meeting will be best attended in person, so we hope to see you all in Flavin.

WiB Movie Night: Join us for a movie night to watch The Devil Wears Prada on Wednesday, November 2nd at 7:30pm (Isenberg N135). Popcorn and cookies will be provided, but feel free to bring other snacks! 

WiB Academic Planning Night: Spring course registration is right around the corner! If you are looking for scheduling advice from upperclassman, join us for our WiB Academic Planning Night on Thursday, November 3rd at 7pm (Isenberg 124). This is a great chance to ask general, or major specific, questions to help you build your schedule for next semester!

Women in Economics: Conversations with Alumni
The Economics and Resource Economics Departments are hosting a "Women in Economics" event on Friday, November 4th from 1-3pm in the Old Chapel. Minuteman Equity Fund
The Minutemen Equity Fund (MEF), a student-run investment fund on campus is recruiting freshman and sophomore students for their Spring 2023 Junior Analyst role! Junior Analysts generate investment ideas, learn about research and the financial industry through workshops, and develop skills to pursue desired opportunities and careers. Isenberg International Internship
Isenberg is offering an international internship and service leadership trip to Southern Africa! This program is open to all UMass students, and will run for two weeks in May. This opportunity allows students to gain real world leadership skills and also provides 30 service hours towards the Isenberg Global Citizens Award. To learn more and apply, click this link. 

UMass School of Public Policy
The School of Public Policy has a brand new undergraduate major! This major focuses on connections between business, government and society, and explores how to property address public problems. SAM x VITA
UMass Smart About Money is working with Volunteer Income Tax Assistance to recruit volunteers to prepare simple tax returns during the spring semester. Isenberg Global Citizens
Isenberg Global Citizens is recruiting mentors for their new volunteer program: Mentors for Higher Education! This program pairs UMass students with students at Amherst High School to serve as mentors during their college application process.
