Thank You for an Amazing Year of WiB!

Happy Wednesday! 

Thank you all for joining us at our final meeting of the semester this past Monday. We hope you all had fun meeting other WiB members and playing some classic board games together! We are so grateful that we were able to celebrate such an amazing year with you all. 

With that being said, we would like to extend a huge thank you to YOU! We have accomplished so much this year, and we couldn't have done it without you. We cannot wait to be back for the Fall 2023 semester, but we will miss our graduating seniors - we wish you all the best of luck on your next adventure!

As a reminder, our FINAL meeting of the year will be held on Monday, May 8th at 7pm in Mahar Auditorium. We will be hosting a Game Night event to wrap up the semester and de-stress before finals! Craig's Doors Sock Drive: Craig's Doors is a local emergency shelter that serves as a center for those in need of resources, support, and referrals. We will be collecting new and unopened sock donations for this organization at our meeting on Monday, May 8th. This is a great way to support our community as the semester comes to a close!

Tomorrow: Stepping Out of Your Comfort Zone with Lisa Freeley!

Thank you for joining us in welcoming Ashley Olafsen, UMass grad and Co-Founder of the Wildflower Company, this past Wednesday! Personal growth, while scary and uncomfortable at times, is crucial to becoming your best self, so don’t miss this opportunity to learn more!

UMass Smart Women Securities (SWS) is a non-profit organization aimed at empowering women and teaching them about finance. SWS invited students to apply for their Environmental Social Governance Fund (ESG) Junior Analyst position. This opportunity provides students with more hands-on financial modeling and equity research experience centered around sustainable investing. Each Junior Analyst will be paired with a Senior Analyst, who will help guide them in their research. The application, which closes on Tuesday, May 2nd at 11:59pm, can be found here.
