As a reminder, we will not be holding a meeting tomorrow, in observance of the Patriot's Day holiday. Our next meeting will be held on Monday, April 24th at 7pm in Isenberg 210* and will be an Internship Panel, featuring some of our amazing E-Board members! This meeting will be a great way to hear from real students about their experience navigating the internship search process and what their roles looked like. If you are looking for advice about future internships, or are just curious to learn more about them, this meeting is for you!

"Pie an I" Fundraiser: WiB will be joining the Isenberg Senior Gift Committee for their Pie an I fundraiser! On Wednesday, April 19th from 10am to 4pm, stop by the Isenberg Courtyard to pie some of your favorite WiB members for a great cause. WiB Self Care Workshop with Ashley Olafsen: Join us in welcoming UMass grad and Co-Founder of the Wildflower Company, Ashley Olafsen, for an interactive self-care workshop! This will be a great opportunity to reflect on the semester, and to learn how to prioritize and balance everything on your plate before finals season. The Minutemen Fixed Income Fund
The Minutemen Fixed Income Fund (MFIF) is a student-run credit research fund that strives to prepare their members for competitive high finance roles in Investment Banking, Sales & Trading, Credit/Equity Research, and more. They are currently accepting applications for the Fall 2023 Junior Analyst Program! First-year and second-year students of all majors are encouraged to apply. UMass Smart Women Securities
UMass Smart Women Securities (SWS) is a non-profit organization aimed at empowering women and teaching them about finance. UPenn x Capital One
Consult for America at the University of Pennsylvania is partnering with Capital One’s Corporate Strategy and Business Analyst programs to host a nationwide business case competition. The case competition will take place virtually from April 13th to April 22nd. All undergraduate students may enter in teams of 3-5, and there are cash prizes of up to $8750 available. During the competition, there will be numerous opportunities for students to learn more about Capital One. WiB Bake Sale: To help fundraise for the UMass Dance Marathon, WiB will be hosting a bake sale on Wednesday, April 12th from 10am to 2pm in the Isenberg Hub. Please keep an eye out for more information about this event! 

WiB Headshot Fundraiser: WiB will be hosting another headshot fundraiser this Spring! On Friday, April 14th from 2-4pm, stop by the Isenberg Hub to get a professional headshot taken by our fantastic Historian, Sophia Trischitta! The cost of this event is $5 per person. All UMass students are welcome to attend!

The Isenberg Undergraduate Consulting Group (IUGC) is hosting a formal recruiting event with Wells Fargo on Wednesday, April 12th at 6pm in Flavin Auditorium (Isenberg 127). Bain & Company, a global management consulting firm, invites students interested in learning more about their company to join their virtual Q&A session! This event will feature 5 Bain & Company partners who will share their experience to give viewers a glimpse into what a career in consulting looks like. This Q&A session will be held on Tuesday, April 4th at 6:15pm, and a zoom link will be provided to students who register using this link. 

LifePods
Life Pods, a company that focuses on creating a community of recent college grads to make the transition into "adulthood" less lonely, is currently hiring! LifePods runs local meetups, forums, and adulting seminars, like how to budget and how to make friends in a new city. They are currently looking to add 2 paid interns to their team from UMass to help spread the word on campus. Interested students can email your resume to LifePods.

UPenn x Capital One
Consult for America at the University of Pennsylvania is partnering with Capital One’s Corporate Strategy and Business Analyst programs to host a nationwide business case competition. The case competition will take place virtually from April 13th to April 22nd. All undergraduate students may enter in teams of 3-5, and there are cash prizes of up to $8750 available. During the competition, there will be numerous opportunities for students to learn more about Capital One.
