Post-Grad Panel Tomorrow!

The Community Service Committee was able to fill 49 backpacks, so thank you to everyone who came to the meeting and donated! We still have 51 backpacks left to fill! If you're interested in donating, please bring school supplies to Monday's meeting! For every 3 supplies you bring, you will recieve 2 membership points!

Peer Mentorship Program - Unfortunately, many mentors are not getting responses from their mentees. Mentees, please make sure you are replying to your mentor and double check that you have not accidentally missed or deleted any communication from them. If you no longer want to participate in the program, please reach out to Kelly at kndavis@umass.edu. It is important that we are all on the same page so that we can have a smooth and successful program!

Protect Our Breasts - Protect Our Breasts is a non-profit breast cancer prevention organization started here at UMass that aims to educate people about the dangers of the chemicals in our everyday exposures that can lead to cancer down the line. The UMass chapter is looking for more members to join their club to learn about these things. They meet in Isenberg twice monthly where they do fun DIY activities, enjoy organic snacks and table in the dining hall to spread their message. ILS is running November 1st - November 4th virtually. Students will attend panels and a keynote speaker presentation by professional thought leaders on inclusion and diversity. This year’s conference will take place virtually on Saturday, October 23, 2021 and Sunday, October 24, 2021.
